Welcome to Prideship (“Prideship”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the Prideship website, platform, applications, and shipping and logistics services (“Services”).

By registering on, accessing, or using our platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About Prideship

Prideship provides a technology-enabled shipping and logistics aggregation platform that allows businesses, sellers, and other registered users (“User”, “Customer”, or “you”) to access and manage shipping services through available courier and logistics service providers.

Our platform may provide services including:

Shipment booking and management
Courier and service selection
Shipment tracking
Pickup request management
Shipping rate calculation
COD shipment management, where available
Shipment status updates
Shipping reports and invoices
Wallet and account balance management, where available
Online payment and recharge facilities, where available
Customer support relating to platform and shipment services

The actual transportation, pickup, handling, and delivery of shipments may be performed by third-party courier or logistics service providers.

2. User Registration and Account

Certain features of our platform may require you to create an account.

You agree to:

Provide accurate, complete, and current information.
Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
Keep your account information updated.
Be responsible for activities performed through your account.
Immediately notify Prideship if you become aware of unauthorized access to your account.

Prideship reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts containing false, misleading, fraudulent, or unauthorized information.

3. Shipment Booking

When creating a shipment, the User is responsible for providing accurate information, including:

Sender name and contact details
Receiver name and contact details
Pickup address
Delivery address
Package weight and dimensions
Shipment contents
Declared value, where applicable
COD amount, where applicable

Incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information may result in additional charges, delivery delays, failed delivery, return-to-origin, or other consequences.

4. Prohibited and Restricted Shipments

Users must not use the Prideship platform to ship goods that are prohibited or restricted under applicable Indian laws, regulations, government requirements, or the policies of the applicable courier or logistics service provider.

The User is responsible for ensuring that the contents of every shipment are lawful and permitted for transportation.

Prideship or its courier partners may reject, hold, return, or otherwise take appropriate action regarding shipments containing prohibited or restricted items.

5. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges may vary based on factors including:

Actual shipment weight
Volumetric weight
Pickup and delivery locations
Courier or service selected
Shipment type
COD charges, where applicable
Applicable taxes
Additional service or handling charges
Weight or dimension discrepancies
Other applicable courier charges

The charges displayed at the time of booking may be subject to adjustment where applicable based on actual shipment details or charges imposed by the relevant courier or logistics service provider.

6. Weight and Dimension Discrepancies

Courier or logistics partners may verify the actual weight and dimensions of a shipment.

If the verified weight or dimensions differ from the information provided during booking, additional charges may be applicable.

Such additional charges may be adjusted from the User's available wallet or account balance or may become payable by the User.

7. Pickup and Delivery

Pickup and delivery timelines displayed on the platform are generally indicative and may vary depending on the courier partner, destination, shipment characteristics, and operational circumstances.

Delivery may be affected by circumstances including:

Weather conditions
Natural disasters
Public holidays
Government restrictions
Operational disruptions
Incorrect or incomplete addresses
Recipient unavailability
Remote or difficult-to-service locations
Courier operational limitations
Other circumstances beyond reasonable control

Prideship facilitates access to courier and logistics services but does not directly control the independent operations of third-party courier partners.

8. Shipment Tracking

Shipment tracking information displayed on the Prideship platform is based on information received from the relevant courier or logistics partner.

Tracking information may occasionally be delayed, incomplete, or temporarily unavailable because of technical or operational circumstances.

9. Cash on Delivery (COD)

Where COD services are available, Users are responsible for entering accurate COD amounts and shipment information.

COD remittance is subject to successful delivery, reconciliation, applicable courier or service terms, and other operational requirements.

Applicable COD charges or deductions may be adjusted before remittance.

10. Wallet and Recharge

Where wallet functionality is available, Users may add funds to their Prideship account using supported payment methods.

Wallet funds may be used for eligible services available on the platform.

Users must not use wallet functionality for fraudulent, unlawful, unauthorized, or prohibited transactions.

Any promotional or bonus balance may be subject to separate conditions and may not be refundable unless specifically stated.

11. Online Payments

Payments made through the Prideship platform may be processed through third-party payment service providers, including Razorpay or other payment providers made available by Prideship.

Payment processing is subject to the applicable payment provider's terms, policies, and applicable laws.

Prideship does not intentionally store complete debit card numbers, CVV information, UPI PINs, or banking passwords on its servers.

12. Cancellation

Shipment cancellation may be available only where permitted based on the shipment's current status and the applicable courier or service provider's rules.

A shipment that has already been picked up, manifested, dispatched, or otherwise processed may not be eligible for cancellation.

Any applicable cancellation charges or service deductions may apply.

13. Refunds

Refunds, where applicable, are governed by the Prideship Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Refund eligibility may depend on the shipment status, payment status, reason for cancellation, service usage, applicable charges, and other relevant circumstances.

14. Customer Responsibilities

Users agree not to:

Provide false or misleading information.
Use the platform for unlawful activities.
Ship prohibited or restricted goods.
Attempt unauthorized access to the platform.
Circumvent security mechanisms.
Introduce malicious software or code.
Abuse APIs or system resources.
Create fraudulent accounts or transactions.
Use another person's account without authorization.
Interfere with the normal operation of the platform.

15. Third-Party Services

Prideship may integrate with third-party courier companies, payment gateways, communication providers, mapping services, hosting providers, and other technology or service providers.

The availability and use of such third-party services may be subject to their respective terms, conditions, and policies.

16. Intellectual Property

The Prideship platform and its associated content, including software, designs, logos, trademarks, text, graphics, interfaces, and other materials, are owned by or licensed to Prideship unless otherwise stated.

Users may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, or commercially exploit such materials without prior written authorization.

17. Platform Availability

Prideship makes reasonable efforts to maintain the availability and functionality of its platform.

However, uninterrupted or error-free access cannot be guaranteed.

The platform may temporarily become unavailable because of maintenance, upgrades, technical issues, third-party service interruptions, security measures, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Prideship shall not be responsible for losses or delays arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control or from the acts, omissions, delays, or operational failures of independent third-party courier or logistics service providers.

Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

19. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Prideship, its officers, employees, representatives, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising from:

Your misuse of the platform;
Your violation of these Terms;
Shipment of prohibited or unlawful goods;
False or inaccurate information provided by you; or
Your violation of applicable laws or third-party rights.

20. Suspension or Termination

Prideship may suspend or terminate a User's access to the platform where it reasonably believes that the User has:

Violated these Terms;
Engaged in fraudulent or unlawful activity;
Misused the platform;
Created a security or operational risk; or
Failed to comply with applicable requirements.

21. Changes to These Terms

Prideship may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

Any revised version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.

Continued use of the platform after the updated Terms are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

22. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India.

Subject to applicable law, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in [Applicable City/State, India].
